Incubation experiments with organic substrates like straw, manure or compost provide data about the C-mineraisation over time. The INCUB tool may help to parameterise organic substrates to be used in model simulations of CNP and CANDY. Moreover, it includes the architecture of several well known models and will this way improve the assessment of the substrate.

INCUB is running some R-scripts and therefore needs an R installation with some special packages as well as the option to use an SQLite database.

INCUB will test if these conditions are given before starting to work.
